As of January 9th, we will be working towards re-opening the studio fully for you to attend classes in person. Online classes will remain available for most classes.
At Stretch, we have always held a high standard of cleanliness, cleaning our spaces frequently and thoroughly. We will continue to clean all touch area and surfaces as well as floors as often as possible.
We will also provide you with hand disinfectant stations through out the studio.
For our classes during this time of transition we will continue to practice in our Flex room, keeping a safe distance between mats at 2.5 meters by pre-marking where mats should go.
The air circulation will be on at all time in the flex/practice room to ensure that the room is ventilated and the air remains as clean.
We will not offer hands-on assist, no chanting to reduce the amount of moisture droplets spread into the air.
For this phase of reopening and until further notice, we will ask all students:
To bring their own mats and props and to keep all their belongings with them by their mat. Please bring only what you need to the studio, to reduce the amount that you need to keep near you as much as possible.
We stock a wide range mats and props (from budget to premium) if you need to acquire them.
You must reserve ONLINE, arrive changed (change rooms are closed but washrooms are open), and keep your belongings near your mat.
Any cancellation later than 12 hours prior to class will be considered a late cancellation.
Arrive 15 minutes before class. Reservations will be given away to pre-registered wait-listed students at the start of class.
Doors will be locked at the start of class, and late arrivals will not be admitted.
No-shows and late cancels will be subject to a charge of $20.
Mats must only be placed at designated floor markers.
Wear a mask at all times unless you are on your mat to practice.
We request that all staff and students self monitor for symptoms or illness, and in respect for the broader community, stay home if they present any flu-like symptoms.
Access to the studio areas you may have been used to be using will be reduced so that we can more easily keep the studio clean and sanitary. In light of this, we will not be providing the use of showers and ask all students to show up changed and ready for class.
We will also continue to offer our classes online for livestream.
The schedule will be adjusted often as we work out what best serves everyone, so please check the schedule and register in advance.
Any questions can be directed to info@stretchvancouver.com and we ask for everyone’s patience as we are personally answering everyone and as a small team it can take time for us to do so.
All classes with LIVE MUSIC are since June at an extra $3. This will allow us to continue to host musicians even with a reduced capacity and compensate our musicians for the great value they contribute to STRETCH.
Please join us for class as soon as you can as we cannot wait to see you here or online! Thank you so very much for your love and support!
